Prep

How do I prepare for Dermal fillers?

  • Keep hydrated, Hyaluronic acid loves water!

  • Avoid exercise before coming for your treatment.

  • Take an antihistamine to help minimise swelling.

  • Do not drink alcohol 24 hours prior to appointment.

  • It is recommended to have arnica gel for after your treatment. This can be used to massage into the area and also to help with bruising.

  • Let us know if you have any medical conditions, medication or allergies before your treatment.

Treat

What will happen at my appointment?

When coming for your treatment please make sure you are able to follow prep and aftercare, if this is not done this can negatively effect your treatment results. During your appointment you will fill out your consultation form and discuss your treatment that will be specifically tailored to you. Numbing cream is always applied to make your treatment as comfortable as possible and all Dermal fillers contain Lidocaine. It is so important to us that your treatment is as pain free as possible! We only use the best products: Juvederm, Revolax and Restylane and will pick the best product to suit the individual and their lifestyle. If you would prefer a specific product please let us know a week before your appointment.

Please note that before and after photos must be taken. Due to the nature of our business please do not bring children and strictly only one other person can be in the studio with you.

After

What should I do after my appointment?

We can not stress enough the importance of following the aftercare, this is how you maintain your results. Follow the steps below and read about what to expect after your treatment. As this is a injectable treatment downtime can be needed.

  • Drink plenty of water to keep hydrated. Dehydration can cause lumps.

  • No Alcohol for at least 48 hours.

  • No exercise for 24 hours.

  • No sun or sun beds for 48 hours.

  • No make up for the rest of the day.

  • Bruising and swelling can last up to 2 weeks. As it is an injectable treatment you must respect how your body handles swelling and bruising and the expected downtime.
